Jun. 29, 2017 - On June 22nd, Imerys Group, one of the world's largest suppliers of refractory materials, held a "Safety Connect Day" around the world.

The theme of this safety day is mobile equipment and pedestrian safety, aiming at advocating safety and reinforcing the commitment of "incident free company". Imerys Graphite&Carbon, as division of Imerys group, participated in the event with each employee of its sub-branch and agency in this initiative.

At the headquarters of Imerys Graphite &Carbon in Switzerland, after sharing healthy breakfast, staff including leading teams started safety connect day activities through viewing video, discussion, live presentations, etc. As Imerys stated, healthy and safety is the most important thing in work and daily life, which is also an important part of the company's incident free company commitment.Through this event Imerys not only advocates safety in production, but also tries to remind people about the safe daily life, especially focusing on the mobile equipment and pedestrian safety.
